Islam not a Nokia

I came across the following very good aussie article:

Ok, this weeks islam buzz has been about Channel 4’s ‘Women only Jihad’.

Did I watch it? No.

I saw the advert and I thought, this is just gonna wind me up, so I chilled in the Masjid after Isha salaah. I heard a lot of opinions about it though:

“Those MPAC punks at it again.”

“bahaha hahahah hahahah ahahhhhhhhahhahaha”

“We should get some ******* to ***** in the ****”

“meh”

They want a masjid or some sort of facilities for the women to pray in, so why on earth are they asking to pray in a Masjid where there are clearly no suitable facilities to accommodate the womenfolk? Why are they appearing after Jummah packin’ a camera crew and raising their voices in front of so many non-mahram men? Surely, that is not the Islamic way or the Halaal way. It infers they just want to cause a ruckus and this is exactly what they did.

They also demanded equality. Pfft, men and women are not equal. Period. Bikes and buses are not equal so why is the bike demanding to be equal? It doesn’t necessarily mean the bus is better than the bike. It just means they are not equal.

If you’re feeling disgusted and want to disagree, you’re probably a psycho feminist, if you want to voice your opinion, raise your hand and wait for a man to acknowledge you before speaking.

I could go on and on, but I’ll end it here.

Point your finger!

So who’s the fool? The woman who voluntarily wears the veil or the moron who shouts “not in my country”.
